Our Mission

To promote binational programs, outreach, dialogue, and exchange aimed at promoting
healthy, more livable communities in the San Diego-Baja California border region, and to
foster educational learning and voluntary service in order to further cross-cultural
understanding, collaboration, and expanded philanthropy around the world.

About the Center

  • Donated by Christy Walton in 2006
  • 6.85 acres in National City, CA, including the historic Noyes House, a pool house and pool, a small Craftsman house, and a large organic garden
  • A Type 1 supporting organization of the International Community Foundation

Programs

  • Olivewood Gardens and Learning Center benefiting local students in National City
  • Produce donated to the Rebecca and John Moores UCSD Cancer Center Healing Foods Program
  • Facility rental and tour of the property for meetings, conferences and overnight stays for our donors and partner organizations
  • Donor education and special events for nonprofit organizations with “Friends Of” funds at the International Community Foundation
