Youth Leadership Program Achievements

ICF successfully concluded the inaugural year of the Las Californias Youth Leadership Program (LCYLP) which seeks to develop future leaders for the San Diego-Tijuana border region. LCYLP sponsored 13 students from San Diego and Tijuana in a yearlong program of educational enrichment, mentoring, job shadowing, and community service projects. The students agreed that LCYLP had a significant impact on how they perceive themselves in relation to the border communities they call home.
