The International Community Foundation has the following key initiatives that it is currently seeking to expand through its donor outreach and grantmaking.

Center for Cross Border Philanthropy: An effort to promote expanded binational programs, outreach, dialogue and exchange aimed at fostering a healthy, more livable communities in the San Diego-Baja California border region and Baja California peninsula as well as to encourage educational learning and voluntary service furthering cross-cultural understanding, collaboration and expanded philanthropy around the world.

Health Border Campaign The San Diego-Baja California region faces some significant cross-border health care access issues, which if left un-addressed, could have irreparable consequences on the regional economy on both sides of the international border in the coming years. 

Oaxaca Fund Initiative: The Oaxaca Fund Initiative is a two-year bi-national fundraising effort between the Fundación Comunitaria Oaxaca (FCO-Oaxaca Community Foundation) and the International Community Foundation.

Give2Baja: Increasing philanthropy and volunterism in the areas of Education, Health Care, Community Development, Economic Development, Environment, Culture and the Arts
