Committee Advised Funds

A committee advised fund permits you to join forces with like-minded friends to partner with the International Community Foundation to realize their shared charitable giving goals and objectives internationally. A committee advised fund is subject to the same guidelines as donor advised funds, however, grant recommendation decisions are mutually decided with grant recommendations being provided to The Foundation by the Committee Chair.

Our staff is available to help you set up a committee advised fund. A minimum donation of $5,000 is required to create a committee fund.

Examples of successful Committee Advised Funds at the International Community Foundation have included:

• The Team Misiones Los Cabos Fund, established by John and Barbara Celler with friends of the Misiones del Cabo Beach Resort, located just outside Cabo San Lucas to support charities in the Los Cabos area.
