“Be a Kid Again!”
San Diego-Baja California: One Region Working Toward a Healthy Border

The International Community Foundation in partnership with its Tijuana-based sister foundation-Fundación Internacional de la Comunidad- will co-host its second annual binational fundraising gala to increase charitable giving and volunteerism benefiting the health of communities and local nonprofit organizations in Baja California.

Celebrating the theme “Be a Kid Again”, the gala will honor efforts to expand regional cross-border philanthropy in the San Diego-Baja California border region focusing on nonprofits that are working to improve the health of children and families through disease prevention and exercise. Proceeds from the gala will benefit the International Community Foundation’s Sustainable Communities Fund, Fundación Internacional de la Comunidad, and selected border area and Baja California health focused nonprofits working to promote expanded health care access and disease prevention for children and families in Baja California.

Activities will begin at 6 p.m. and will include a silent auction, festive trios, and an array of fun-filled activities that will inspire the KID in you!  Special guest, Abelardo Rodriguez, Univision’s morning talk show host, will MC the event.  Dinner will be served at 7:15 p.m. followed by dancing at 9 p.m. So join us for a fun evening and get ready to “Be a Kid Again”!
