ICF Recognizes Service of Retiring Board Members

With the culmination of ICF’s fiscal year on June 30th, three board members, Jessie J. Knight Jr., Alice Tang and Victor Vilaplana announced their retirement from the board.

Jessie J. Knight, Jr.Jessie J. Knight, Jr. has served on ICF’s board since 2001 providing leadership as the Chair of our 2004 Gala with his wife Joye Blount, and as Chair of ICF’s Board Development Committee over the past year. Concurrent with his retirement from ICF’s board, Jessie recently resigned from his position as President & CEO of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce to become the new Executive Vice President of External Affairs at Sempra Energy.

Victor VilaplanaVictor Vilaplana, a partner with the law firm Selzer, Caplan, McMahan & Vitek, served as a board member ICF Recognizes Service of Retiring Board Members and legal counsel since 1996. From 1996 to 1999 Victor served as the foundation’s Chairman of the Board.

 

Alice TangAlice Tang has served on ICF’s board since 2003 and continues to be an active donor of the Foundation, supporting nonprofit organizations in China.

 

 

Chris WaddellEarlier this year, Chris Waddell retired from ICF’s board and took temporary leave of absence from his investment advisory practice at Merrill Lynch to pursue a three year ministry with the Church of Latter Day Saints in Barcelona, Spain.

 

ICF is tremendously appreciative for the long-standing service, guidance, leadership and charitable giving provided to us by Victor, Alice, Jessie and Chris and we look forward to their on-going involvement as members of the ICF family.
