The International Community Foundation helped to sponsor an event for the Megan House animal center in Oaxaca, Mexico, an animal facility dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and sterilization of unsheltered animals. The mission of the Megan House is to promote responsible animal ownership in Oaxaca. The event entitled, “Wine, Oaxaca, and Happy Tails” was held at the home of International Community Foundation’s board vice-chair, Cheryl Hammond. The event followed an educational forum for animal shelters overseas organized and sponsored by the Helen Woodward Animal Center.
