Family Foundations visted Olivewood Gardens on February 1, 2010
Visitors representing ten different family foundations from around the US learned about the International Community Foundation Center’s role in promoting healthier living in the San Diego region. The tour highlighted Olivewood Elementary fourth grade students on a school field trip to Olivewood Gardens located at the International Community Foundation Center’s property in National City. Many of the family foundations are funding school and community gardens in Buffalo, New York; Seattle, Washington, and Baltimore, Maryland.
