Featured Grantees: Investment Opportunities in Environment
For Information on how
you can donate to these grantees, contact Anne McEnany
at anne@icfdn.org,
or visit our website and DONATE ONLINE at
www.icfdn.org.
Many of ICF’s donors enjoy recreational and sportfishing
in the Gulf of California (Sea of Cortez) region of Baja
California and Baja California Sur. Keeping these
fishing stocks at a sustainable level is critical for
local villages and for tourism operators, both of which
depend on healthy stocks and predictable fishing
seasons.
This quarter, ICF highlights three loal nonprofit
organizations that are taking the lead in fisheries in
the Gulf of California, focusing on marine protected
areas, fisher-to-fisher networking, and scientific
research. |
