Casa YMCA de Menores Migrantes, Tijuana, BC, Mexico

Casa YMCA's dilapidated kitchen in need of funding for renovation.

Since 1991, Casa YMCA has been a pioneer in contributing towards the wholesome development in spirit, mind, and body of young people (ages 11-17) in the border area between Mexico and the U.S. They provide free provisional shelter to approximately 2500 children per year from various parts of Mexico and Central America, who in their effort to cross over to the U.S. illegally are detained, arrested and deported to Mexico. Personel from Casa YMCA monitor the border several times a day for children who do not have access to water, food and shelter and safe healthy environment to help these children get through their dramatic and desperate experience.

By supporting Casa YMCA you will contribute to: Restoration of youth migrant shelters:

  • $5,000 dollars will go towards the renovation of Casa YMCA, Tijuana's kitchen (see picture above).

  • Your support will allow Casa YMCA to continue to provide a healthy and safe environment to serve over 2,500 children per year that are affected by migration.
