New Californias Cup Fund Established to Promote Bicultural Exchange Through Sports.

In an effort to promote bicultural understanding through sports, a new Californias Cup Fund was established at ICF. The goal is to bring together amateur youth baseball players from the States of California, Baja California and Baja California Sur for a yearly round-robin tournament. This year's tournament was held on November 9-11, 2001 at Tony Gwynn Stadium at San Diego State University. The tournament was held in cooperation with the Commission of the Californias.
