ON
THE MOVE
Lucy Killea announced she is stepping down from her
position as President and CEO of the International Community
Foundation (ICF), effective June 30, 2001. Lucy has
been a driving force behind ICF since December 1996.
As President and CEO she has linked U.S. donors with
philanthropic projects in Latin America and Asia Pacific.
Her unyielding promotion of philanthropy has contributed
to improving the lives of underprivileged people on
an international scale, with particular emphasis in
Baja California.
Lucy's active participation in community,
government, education, and philanthropy has given her
a unique depth of knowledge of and insight into the
dynamics of the San Diego region. Moving from a full-time
position, Lucy anticipates making available as a consultant
her knowledge and experience. She will continue her
active volunteer role in higher education and in community
and regional organizations.
"I've had a most rewarding experience,"
said Lucy, "and I wish the foundation many years
of success in its service to donors and beneficiaries
alike."
The ICF Board of Governors and staff wish Lucy much
success in her future endeavors.
