HIGHLIGHTS
OF A FEW GRANTS IN MEXICO
Earlier this year, ICF made small grants to non-profit
groups in the Tijuana area to mark International Children's
Fund. In a brief turn-around time, the money helped thousands

therapy for underage victims of sexual abuse.
Thirty children with disabilities and their families entered
a program to build their self-esteem and improve their
communication skills.
An ICF grant enabled a Healthy Children's Clinic to continue
its vaccination program that protected l,356 children
and 65l pregnant women, over an eight month period.
A group of women in a poor community formed a committee
to offer small loans to enhance community projects, an
ICF grant provided funding for three loans.
An ICF grant to Hospital Infantil de las California's
allowed the center to perform five needed surgical procedures.
A program to help migrant children learn social skills
and cope with familial difficulties was enhanced by an
ICF grant that helped 194 children of approximately 95
