The International Community Foundation seeks an enthusiastic, driven and responsible intern to provide support to the foundation's program officer.

Specific Responsibilities:

     Assist with international grantmaking:

• Communications,
• Filing, data entry,
• Award letters,
• Grantee due diligence
• Fund statements
• Update proposal guidelines in both English & Spanish
• Site visits to Mexican nonprofits as needed
• Assist in updating grant related information on the foundation’s website
• Assist with Spanish translation of the foundation’s website.
• Other duties as needed
• Assist with Program Development Initiatives.

     Assist with Foundation's Publication materials:

• Annual Report
• Quarterly Newsletters
• Other

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree candidate related to international relations, social sciences, public policy, or other related fields, with a focus on Latin America.
• Proficiency in Spanish preferred but not required
• Excellent research and writing skills
• Excellent computer skills (i.e. Word, and Excel) and able to navigate and learn new programs quickly (i.e. FIMS, ICF-Xchange)
• Capacity to simultaneously work on multiple tasks and projects, and set priorities for a challenging workload
• Able to delivery assignments on time.
• Positive and can-do attitude.
