The International Community Foundation seeks an enthusiastic, driven and responsible intern to provide support to the foundation's program officer.
Specific Responsibilities:
Assist with international grantmaking:
- Communications,
- Filing, data entry,
- Award letters,
- Grantee due diligence
- Fund statements
- Update proposal guidelines in both English & Spanish
- Site visits to Mexican nonprofits as needed
- Assist in updating grant related information on the foundation’s website
- Assist with Spanish translation of the foundation’s website.
- Other duties as needed
- Assist with Program Development Initiatives.
Assist with Foundation's Publication materials:
- Annual Report
- Quarterly Newsletters
- Other
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree candidate related to international relations, social sciences, public policy, or other related fields, with a focus on Latin America.
- Proficiency in Spanish preferred but not required
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Excellent computer skills (i.e. Word, and Excel) and able to navigate and learn new programs quickly (i.e. FIMS, ICF-Xchange)
- Capacity to simultaneously work on multiple tasks and projects, and set priorities for a challenging workload
- Able to delivery assignments on time.
- Positive and can-do attitude.
